Overview:

Agro K came to us with a project they had been wrestling with for some time. This manufacturer helps growers find solutions to a variety of issues relating to nutrition and quality. Through extensive testing they have developed a wide array of innovative products, ranging from quality enhancing calcium, to micronutrient sprays that are second to none in bio-availability, to rapid uptake phosphite foliars and a line of soil and foliar biological products.
Agro K's product line is available through their distributors, and they wanted to have a distributor or dealer search option available from their homepage. They had tried a few options and found that they were not entirely what they had been looking for.

Finding a solution

Agro K decided to get more serious about the solution and became interested in using the Google Maps API and found wikisoftpeople through the Google Coders Forum. Here they got in touch with one of our representatives and we took it from there. if you click the link above look at the nav bar on their web site and click dealer locator. Here you will be able to see the end user side of the application. Overall Agro K is very enthusiastic about this program and chose it over a few other vendors that they looked at. It allows them to have control over who their dealers are and who can use the search. We have continued to work with them to even fine tune the program and have continued maintenance operations with them. We plan on continuing a relationship with their organization as well and will help with any future projects.
